STUDENT COUNCIL DANCE On Friday, December 5th, there will be a student council dance. From 5-7pm the 5th and 6th grade will attend and then from 7:30-9:30pm, the 7th and 8th grade will attend the dance.

NURSE NOTES Our school is noticing an increase in absences due to seasonal flu. Students are reminded to practice good hygiene: Keep your hands clean by washing thoroughly with soap and water or using an alcohol based hand sanitizer. Avoid sharing personal items. Parents are encouraged to keep student's personal items, including sports equipment, music players, and cell phones clean and sanitized. If you suspect your child has the flu (some symptoms may include body aches, high fever, and respiratory symptoms), please refrain from sending them to school until they are no longer contagious.

BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION The library is once again collecting General Mills Boxtops for Education. Please cut them off any General Mills product and send them to school with your student.

Candy Sales The Fannie May Candy Sales were very successful. Our school raised about $5000 for the PTC. This money will be used to purchase technology for the classrooms. Thank you to all the students and parents who sold candy.

LUNCH CHARGES Please try to keep your lunch account balance in the positive. There are many students with outstanding balances. If your student is on the Free/Reduced Lunch Program, please remember that anything extra is charged the full price. If your student has a negative balance they will not be allowed to order extras (like on pizza day).
